Happy Friday! We’d like to kick off the weekend with a get to know us post. We’re Cassey and Josh, both from Tennessee but currently living out in San Diego, California. We’re both camera nerds and beer drinkers who love to travel almost as much as we love to spend lazy Sundays at home.

Josh and I met in a small art college we both attended in Nashville, Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film. We met in a 2D Design class and bonded over the course of many weeks and beers at the Flying Saucer (which is a great place for beer lovers in Nashville, if you’re in the area.)
I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Raised by three of the loveliest parents I could ask for. I have a younger sister, Lauren, she’s just alright (just kidding Lauren). With a mother who also studied arts and father as a architect, I fell in love with the arts as a child. I started studying photography in high school, then attended a community college followed by Watkins where I received my bachelors. Since graduation, I’ve gotten really into beauty and fashion.
Josh was born in Missouri, but moved to Tennessee at a fairly young age. He got into music and theatre while in high school and went to Watkins to study film directing, but quickly changed to camerawork. Shortly before graduating, he made the decision to enlist in the Navy as an IT guy to pay off his student loans. He does all sorts of random stuff for hobbies, ranging from collecting vinyl to studying Japanese to learning piano and composing.
We’re both super excited to start this blog and we can’t wait to share some of ourselves with you all.
